In conjunction with the Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (SAW) Poster Contest, the CRVWA hosts a local poster contest each year.  Launching in late January, the CRVWA poster contest is open to students in Grades 5, 6 and 7 that attend school within the Carrot River Watershed.  Information packages are sent directly to schools, including information about the contest, contest rules, and contest entry forms.

Judging of the CRVWA poster contest is done by the CRVWA Board of Directors and staff with the top 3 local contest entries each receiving a prize and recognition in our newsletter.  The first place winner of the CRVWA poster contest advances to the SAW Poster Contest to compete against the poster contest winners selected by the 10 other watershed stewardship groups in the province.  The Grand Prize winner of this provincial contest receives a prize package valued at $1000! We are very proud to have had our local poster contest winners in 2015 and 2016 advance to win the provincial poster contest!
